LIPP — capturing video

My videos are linked here. All were captured on my extremely beat-up iPhone X, so apologies for anything that’s blurry

Staying present is always a struggle for me, and trying to remember to capture textures and vibes that strike me over the course of a week didn’t come super naturally. I’m also not a huge photographer or videographer in general. I’m not great at it and generally I figure someone else will take a better picture of anything I want to capture anyway. So I didn’t do as great of a job as I’d hoped of remembering to capture things that struck me. What I wound up with was fairly representative of my interests, though. Scattered footage of buildings, birds, things in my neighborhood I found serendipitous. A lot of footage from a visit to the transit museum with a visiting friend (I love trains). A TORRES concert I went to in the middle of the week. Some videos from a friend’s balcony — a plane passing by, a train between buildings. And, finally, probably a lot more footage than I needed of the aftermath of a Super Bowl party on Sunday — my roommate, my girlfriend and I had all had more than enough to drink and were listening to music and dancing. I took videos of us, and of the videos we watched (including some great video of the Righteous Brothers).
